Heather grew up in Grand Pré and has always loved working with animals. She graduated from the Animal Science and Horse Owners 1& 2 program at NSAC , as well as the Dog Behaviour course at NSCC. She joined Cornwallis Vets in 2010 with a variety of experience after working in various pet services. Heather lives with her family on their 40 acre farm in Grand Pré along with her dog, Lilla a German Shepherd/Black Lab/Keeshond mix as well as 3 cats: Panther, Kashew & Fantasia. She enjoys Horses, farming, raising turkeys, chickens & pigs as well as hiking, swimming and hanging out with her animals. Heather is involved in community and volunteers with the Wolfville Town Float committee for Apple Blossom, the Wolfville community Christmas dinner and the yearly Adopt a highway initiative.
