Dr. Rosalie O’Hara grew up in Bridgewater, NS and chose to become a Vet because of her love of animals, horses in particular.  She continues to enjoy her career because she loves the people, the diversity and making animal’s lives better.

After completing her BSc with honours at UPEI, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College where she obtained lots of experience as a student working in the AVC teaching hospital.  From there she spent a year in an equine internship in Alberta before joining the team at Cornwallis Vets as a mixed animal vet!

Dr. O’Hara is happy to be home in Nova Scotia with her husband, as well as Paisley, her 12 year old Newfoundland dog, and June her 3year old Black Lab and her cats Teddy and Suzie.
