Hailey grew up in Lower Sackville with her parents and older sister and recently moved to Kentville. She has always had a strong passion for animals and started riding horses at 13 years of age and knew veterinary medicine was the direction she was meant to go in. It’s something new every day and she loves the hands-on involvement.
She graduated from Sackville high and then attended the Technician program at Maritime Business College where she graduated in 2020. She completed her placement at Cornwallis Vets just as the Covid-19 pandemic was starting, and was hired a bit later that year.
She and her sister started small with hermit crabs and countless fish, then hamsters and a bunny. Her family now has a King Charles Cavalier who is spoiled rotten! In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with family, going for drives, running, and helping out at her boyfriend’s beef farm.
