Radiology (X-Ray)

On-site Radiology at our Kentville hospital is one of our most valuable diagnostic tools.

X-rays are often taken to examine cruciate ligament injuries, count fetuses in pregnancies, check for foreign bodies, stones or broken bones, and identify injuries in emergencies. Cornwallis Vets is now offering OFA hips and elbows as well. X-rays are routinely used to provide valuable information about pet’s bones, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, heart and genitourinary system. At Cornwallis Veterinarians, our Veterinarians and Technicians perform diagnostic radiographs an average of 500 times each year.

The Veterinarians will review the x-rays with our clients in one of the Examination Rooms or in the Consultation Room.
