Our veterinary team

welcomes you and your pet.
Veterinary Service with Courtesy & Respect.
As a client of Cornwallis Veterinarians, you can expect our full attention to your pet/livestock needs. Our services will be provided with courtesy and respect as well as making sure you go home feeling educated with all of your options for your animal’s healthcare.
When you arrive at the clinic, you will be greeted warmly by our front desk staff. If you have an appointment, we ask that you check in at the front desk. We will then verify your contact information. Most dogs will be weighed on the floor scale; cats and small dogs are weighed in the exam rooms. We will ask what you are currently feeding your pet(s), and then you may take a seat in our waiting area until the veterinarian is ready to see you. We try to ensure our appointments run in a timely manner but there may be times when an emergency will create delays. In that event, we will try to keep the clients informed and provide them with the opportunity to reschedule if necessary. The Veterinarian will then examine your pet(s), answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as required.
Once you are finished in the appointment, you return to the front desk for check out. We will answer any follow up questions you may have about the visit and go over instructions of prescribed medications. We can also recommend flea/tick/deworming medications, diets if asked, and provide information of other products and services. We complete the billing and schedule any follow up appointments if needed.
If you need a veterinarian to go to examine your horse or food production animal, you can call and talk to our receptionist who will help arrange a farm visit for you.
We understand that your pet is an important member of your family and your livestock is your livelihood. We are excited to meet you and your furry family members. Please contact the clinic today to book an appointment for your pet or large animal and to have any questions answered.
