Dr. Hailey Nauss is originally from Lower Cornwall, just outside of Mahone Bay, NS.She grew up on a farm and has known since she was 10 that she wanted to help animals.  Being a veterinarian is a challenging career that she finds immensely rewarding!

After completing her BSc in Animal sciences at Dalhousie, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College on PEI.  Prior to and during veterinary school, Dr. Nauss worked at two different animal shelters and also in two in two small animal clinics as a Veterinary Assistant, and has now joined Cornwallis Vets as a small animal veterinarian!

Dr. Nauss currently resides in Coldbrook, NS with her partner, Ridge along with her Boston Terrier, Gimli and her 2 cats Blossom and Jotaro.  In her down time, Dr. Nauss enjoys biking on trails, gardening, reading fiction, and swimming and considers herself to be a house plant enthusiast!
