Dr. Cameron graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Atlantic Veterinary College in 1997.  She has been practicing companion animal veterinary medicine at Cornwallis Veterinarians since 2008.

Presently, she lives in Grafton, NS, with her husband Paul, who is a pharmacist at Maders Pharmachoice in Coldbrook.  Together they have a daughter, Hannah, a cat and a dog.  As well they operate Hawthorne Hill Farm where Dr. Cameron enjoys growing tree fruit, berries, vegetables, garlic, raising Shetland Sheep and free range hens. She is a strong advocate for the “Buy Local” movement and the protection and preservation of farmland
