Dr. Richardson grew up in North Bay, Ontario and has wanted to be a Vet ever since she was very young! She loves all animals -including those with scales and feathers! She received her BSc. followed by her MSc both from the University of Guelph prior to graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI with her DVM in the spring of 2020 and joined the team at Cornwallis Vets shortly thereafter!. She worked her way through high school at a veterinary clinic in North Bay and at a group home for kids throughout her undergrad and MSc.

Dr. Richardson is especially interested in exotic animals as well as Ophthalmology and Dermatology and she LOVES giant breed dogs- the bigger the better!

Dr. Richardson recently moved to Wolfville with her partner Matt and her 2 pets- a bearded dragon and a gecko. In her free time she enjoys reading, travelling, painting, gardening and trying new food and drinks!
