Dr. Jahncke grew up just outside of Cole Harbour in Mineville, NS.  She always knew she wanted to be a vet and attending the AVC vet camp the summer after grade 7 solidified that dream.In 2015 she graduated from Dalhousie Agricultural Campus with her BSc majoring in Animal Science.  In 2019 she graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College with her DVM.  Shortly after graduation, Dr. Jahncke accepted an Associate Veterinarian position with Cornwallis Veterinarians Ltd and made the move to Kentville with her cat “Rosie”. 

Dr. Jahncke continues to volunteer with Hope for Wildlife as she’s done for the past 4 years, where she gained a real interest in wildlife and wildlife vet medicine.  In her spare time, Dr. Jahncke enjoys music, soccer, movies & TV and travelling.
