Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a diagnostic tool that uses the reflection

of sound waves to provide an image of the internal

organs of the body.

Ultrasound can be used to see pregnancies as well as determine the health of organs, identify a mass or excess fluid.  This is all done without using invasive methods.  Cornwallis Veterinarians Ltd recently purchased a new LOGIQe Compact Ultrasound so we can offer in house ultrasound diagnosis.  Dr Oli Dubeau and Dr Josh Aalders both came to us with a very keen interest in the use of ultrasound.  They continue to study the specific skills of performing and interpreting ultrasound findings.
